Delete your LendKhata account

Who this is for

Users of the LendKhata Lender and LendKhata Borrower apps who want their account deleted, or want some of their data deleted.

How to request deletion

  1. Open the deletion request form (also available in the app under Settings → Delete account).
  2. Choose the app (Lender or Borrower) and enter the email or mobile number on your account.
  3. Say whether you want the whole account or only some data deleted, and submit.

What happens

  • We verify the request using the email or mobile number on your account (we may contact you).
  • Within 30 days we delete your login, profile, KYC details, photos, documents, signatures and push tokens.
  • Loan and payment records that a Lender must keep by law (for example, accounting or tax rules) are kept only as long as required and are then deleted. Deleting a Lender account removes that Lender's borrower records too.
  • Feedback screenshots and server logs are deleted as well.
